Apulia, Tarantum, Nomos, c. 470-425 BC; AR (g 7,87; mm 22; h 12); Oecist riding dolphin l., both arms extended; below, shell, Rv. TAPAΣ (retrograde), oecist seated l., holding distaff and scepter. HNItaly 844; Vlasto 186. Very rare and among the finest specimens known of this issue. Cabinet tone. Exceptionally detailed reverse: about extremely fine - extremely fine.
