Obv. Q·METELL SCIPIO·IMP, Laureate head of Africa to right, wearing elephant skin; in right field, ear of corn and below, plough.
Rev. EPPIVS LEG·F·C , Hercules standing facing with right hand on hip and resting left on club draped with a lion's skin.
Syd. 1051; Sear Imperators 44; Craw. 461/1.
Attractively toned and with luster remaining. Almost extremely fine.
