On obverse imperial bust of high relief and courtly style. On the reverse, Demeter is a patron goddess of the fertility of the earth and the abundance of the harvest, often likened to Isis in Egyptian pantheism and combined with Triptolemus, the divine sower of grains from his aerial chariot pulled by winged serpents.
