Description

SPAIN. Philip IV, 1621-1665. Cob 4 Reales T°P (Silver, 25.48 mm, 12.65 g). Toledo, assayer P (unknown). Crowned shield bearing the emblems of far-flung possessions of the Spanish Habsburg rulers; mint mark ° over T and assayer P to left. Rev. Lobate frame formed of two raised lines, containing a knob-ended cross with castles and lions in the angles. Cf. Calicò 1208. KM 35.7. Traces of cleaning, porosity. Good Fine. From a Swiss collection, formed before 2005.
