ROMAN RING WITH GLASS GEM Roman period, c. 3rd-4th century AD. Bronze ring with glass paste (?) intaglio depicting the draped and radiate bust of Sol Invictus. Inner diameter: 17 mm. Glass paste: 11x8 mm. The stone is pale yellow and transparent. Very fine engraving.
