Macrinus (217-218). AR Tetradrachm, Laodicea ad Mare mint, Seleucis and Pieria. D/ Laureate head right. R/ Eagle standing facing, head and tail left, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; star between legs. Prieur 1182. AR. g. 12.35 mm. 26.00 RR. Very rare, only eight examples listed by Prieur. Prettily toned. Good VF.
