Greek Italy. Bruttium, Kroton. Fourrée Stater, c. 480-430 BC. D/ QPO retrograde. Tripod; to right, crab (?). R/ Incuse tripod. Cf. HN Italy 2100. AR/AE. g. 7.36 mm. 22.50 R. Very rare as a fourrée. Thin plating missing in areas. VF. A plated contemporary counterfeit, very rare for the incuse series.
