Commemorative series. Struck under Constantine I. AE Follis, Aquileia mint, 334-335 AD. Obv. CONSTANTINOPOLIS. Laureate, helmeted, and draped bust of Constantinopolis left, holding sceptre. Rev. Victory standing left on prow, holding scepter and shield set on ground to right; in exergue, AQP. RIC III 123. AE. 2.62 g. 16.50 mm. Lovely dark brown patina. Choice EF.
