Greek Italy. Bruttium, Brettii. AE Unit, c. 214-211 BC. Obv. Laureate head of Zeus right; grain ear behind. Rev. BPET-TIΩN. Eagle standing left on thunderbolt with wings spread; cornucopiae to left, crescent above. HN Italy 1978; Scheu, Bronze 14. AE. 6.50 g. 20.00 mm. An attractive example. Glossy green brown patina, with lighter tan spots. Good VF.
