Lucius Verus (Divus, after 169 AD). AE Sestertius, struck under Marcus Aurelius. Obv. DIVVS VERVS. Bare head right. Rev. CONSECRATIO SC. Eagle standing right on globe, head left. RIC III (M. Aurel.) 1509; C. 56. AE. 26.06 g. 32.00 mm. Cleaned and smoothed. Superb portrait. Glossy brown surfaces, with reddish highlights. VF.
