Crispina, wife of Commodus (died 183 AD). AE Dupondius, Rome mint. D/ CRISPINA AVGVSTA. Draped bust right. R/ IVNO LVCINA SC. Juno standing left, holding patera and sceptre. RIC 680; C. 24. AE. g. 11.55 mm. 25.50 Scarce. A superb example, with a delicate and charming portrait. Lovely deep olive green patina. Expertly smoothed, otherwise EF.
