YEHOHANAN HYRCANUS, 135 – 104 BCE Bronze Prutah, 14.0 mm. Obverse: Double cornucopiae with a pomegranate in the center. Reverse: Paleo-Hebrew inscription in wreath: “Yehohanan the High Priest and the Council of the Jews”. Greek letter A at top (Year one?). Extremely Fine. Meshorer TJC A9; Hendin 1132.
