LARGE SCYTHIAN STAG MOUNT FROM A CHARIOT
Ca. 700 - 400 BC A large Scythian bronze mount from a chariot depicting a stag. The mount has a hollow cone shape body. The stag muzzle is depicted with prominent horns, a long nose and spread ears. On the base of the cone is a small hole to affix the mount to the chariot.
Size: 225mm x 170mm; Weight: 2.36kg
