EGYPTIAN FAIENCE EYE OF HORUS AMULET WITH BLACK DETAILS
Third Intermediate Period, Ca. 1069 - 664 BC An Egyptian faience amulet depicting a wedjat, "Eye of Horus," an ancient ocular symbol of protection. Embellished with a brilliant, azure-hued glaze intended to represent the waters of the Nile.
