ROMAN GLASS DATE SHAPED UNGUENTARIUM
Ca. AD 100 - 200 A Roman glass date shape unguentarium with a globular body with the shape of a date connected to a narrow neck and a long funnel shape rim. Date-shaped unguentaria were produced mainly in the eastern part of the Empire and sold to the western side as exotic products.
