HELLENISTIC MOULDED APHRODITE STATUETTE

Ca. 350 BC A terracotta, moulded pottery statuette of Aphrodite. The goddess stands nude, her head adorned with a flowery wreath and her weight shifted in contrapposto pose. Her right arm holds aloft some drapery, while the left is held over a fiery altar. Item was repaired from five original pieces.
