RARE GREEK CUT GLASS SKYPHOS
Ca. 100-200 BC
A pale yellow-green in color, cast, lathe-cut and polished, the hemispherical body on an outsplayed ring foot, the ring handles with projecting horizontal upper and curved lower plates designed to be held with the thumb, forefinger and middle finger, the upper surface merging with the vessel rim and framed by vertical wheel-cut grooves. Authenticated by Hebolabo, Belgium, with an EDXRF Test Report.
