ACHAEMENID BRONZE VESSEL - SUPERB PATINA

A bronze libation bowl of hemispherical body fashioned from a hammered bronze sheet. The interior is ornamented with incised floral design. Bowls of this kind were used for pouring libations to the gods and for drinking on more ordinary occasions.
