The plain hoop rounded on the exterior, flat on the interior, with a high flaring square bezel, the sides stamped with festoons and stippling, set with a flat emerald. The item has undergone X-ray fluorescence analysis to confirm the metallurgical content suggesting its ancient origin and lack of modern trace elements.
