EGYPTIAN FAIENCE USHABTI GROUP
Late Period, 30th Dynasty, Ca. 332 BC.
A group of four mummiform ushabtis, each wearing a plain tripartite wig; the arms are crossed on the chest, and the hands hold a pick and hoe very faintly modelled in relief. The faces are simply defined with no attention to detail. The ushabtis flat-backed.
