MASSIVE WESTERN ASIATIC BRONZE PIN WITH IBEX
Ca. 1200-700 BC. A tapered bronze pin with a stylised ibex protome with a cylindrical mouth, and high-raised antlers with applied studs. Another animal protrudes from the shaft as is facing the opposite direction. The use of pins like this is uncertain. They were probably both used as votive offerings, but also worn as decoration or for fastening clothes. Good condition, with a beautiful patina.
