EGYPTIAN FAIENCE USHABTI GROUP
Late Period, 30th Dynasty, Ca. 332 BC. A selection of four mummiform ushabtis, each wearing a plain tripartite wig; the arms are crossed on the chest, and the hands hold a pick and hoe very faintly modelled in relief. The faces are simply defined with no attention to detail. The ushabtis flat-backed. Size: L:Set of 4: 24.9-95.1mm / W:25-28mm ; 130g. Provenance: Private London collection; ex. B. Kickx and J.
