SWIVEL GOLD RING WITH EGYPTIAN SCARAB
Hyksos Period, Ca. 1630-1523 BC. A beautiful high karat gold swivel ring with a steatite scarab from Ancient Egypt depicting a two ureaus. The ring is centred by a longitudinally pierced scarab, set within a gold frame and with incised decoration. The item has undergone X-ray fluorescence analysis to confirm the metallurgical content suggesting its ancient origin and lack of modern trace elements. Size: D: 19.84mm / US: 10 / UK: T 1/2; 6.04g.
