This commemorative coin features the effigy of HM King Mohammed VI on the obverse, as well as the inscriptions ‘Mohammed VI’ and ‘Kingdom of Morocco’ in Arabic, with the year 2018-1439 at the bottom. At the top is the inscription ‘19th anniversary of the enthronement of HM King Mohammed VI’ in Arabic and at the bottom its French translation", notes Bank Al-Maghrib.
The centre of the reverse of the coin is decorated with a representation of the Kingdom's coat of arms and a map of Africa covered with sets of lines ‘constituting the globe’ and evoking Morocco's connectivity with Africa, in addition to the face value in Arabic numerals and letters ‘250 dirhams’. Note that this coin is made of 925‰ silver and 75 ‰ copper. It weighs 28.28 grams, with a diameter of 38.61 millimetres and a fluted edge.
