KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III ‘the Great’, (336-323 BC) Soloi, struck under Pasikrates, Circa 325/3-319/8.
AR Tetradrachm (27,9mm 17,1g)
Obv: Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress.
Rev: AΛEΞANΔPOY. Zeus, seated left, holding eagle and sceptre; prow right in left field.
