Description
2nd - 1st century BC. Carnelian - agate, dark red opaque stone with the image of Herculas standing in the nude, holding his club in his left hand and lion skin in the right hand. Extremely fine condition, fantastic detail and anatomy work. Provenance: Property of a UK gentleman, acquired on the British art market.
