Description
1st-3rd century AD. Gold earring with wire hoops and four pearls. In Roman society, purity and simplicity were the main trends in beauty, thus jewellery was meant to be delicate, such as this earring. Very fine condition. Provenance: From the collection of South London gentleman since 1970s.
