The present coin has parallels to Svend Estridsen’s Hauberg 3 which recent studies indicate was struck in Southwest Denmark. The present piece, due to its low weight and the triple pellets in opposing angles on the reverse could have ties to this mint or perhaps it could be an Eastern imitation.
