Cimmerian Bosporos. Pantikapaion. Circa 370-355 BC. AR Hemidrachm (13mm, 2.63g, 5h). Head of bearded Satyr facing slightly tilted right / PANTI, lion crouching right. Anokhin (2011) 1011; SNG BM Black Sea 862; SNG Stancomb 537; MacDonald 41; SNG Copenhagen -. Near Extremely Fine. Exceptional for issue and wonderful portrait. Scarce.
Ex European collection, formed before 2003.
