A fine Moche IV bottle from Peru, ca. 450 - 550 A.D. This nice single-spout vessel is 8-1/2ﾔ high and is decorated with a monkey holding a mesh basket painted in white kaolin over the burnished red slip. Intact, good mineral deposits. Value range: $700 - $1000.
