A lovely Manteno figure from Ecuador, ca. 1000 - 1500 A.D. This mold-made female is 6-3/4? high and is depicted standing, with hands held to her sides and palms facing forward. She is nicely detailed, wearing a headdress and is adorned with a fancy necklace, ear ornaments and labret. Nice example, with strong mineral deposits.
