Aelia Eudoxia, Augusta, 400-404. Solidus (Gold, 20 mm, 4.48 g, 6 h), Constantinopolis, 400-402. AEL EVDO-XIA AVG Pearl-diademed and draped bust of Aelia Eudoxia to right, crowned by manus Dei. Rev. SALVS REI PVBLICAE Δ / CONOB Victory seated right on cuirass, writing Chi-Rho on shield resting on small column; behind cuirass, shield. Depeyrot 55/5. RIC 14. Lustrous and attractive. The obverse a bit weak and with a few light marks, otherwise, extremely fine.
