BOEOTIA. Thebes. Circa 390-382 BC. Stater (Silver, 22 mm, 12.20 g), Hike..., magistrate. Boeotian shield. Rev. HI-KE Amphora; above, wreath; all within shallow incuse. BCD Boiotia 488 ( this coin ). BMC 148. Hepworth 54 ( this coin illustrated ). SNG Copenhagen 335 ( same reverse die ). A beautifully toned and very well centered coin with a fine pedigree. A few light marks and struck from a somewhat worn obverse die with some minor breaks, otherwise, good very fine.
